No, it’s not what you think.

My life is not the sweet victorious liquid that is within (at the moment).

It’s more like my life is currently the Champagne bottle itself and my sanity being the cork.

And for every twelve hour day I have worked (since November), is yet another shake of the bottle. Seeing as my current work schedule has been going on for quite some time like this, my bottle has indeed been shaken one too many times.

As the pressure continues to build each day, I feel it. And I know that it is only a matter of time before I shoot off into the distance. By distance I mean the other side of the USA. Yes you read that right, I am currently gearing up for my big move to the West coast!

It’s been a long time coming, but I am very excited to see what the State of Oregon has to offer me (and what I have to offer for it). For too long I have suppressed my creative talents in the name of financial support, but now I am ready for the leap. I plan on combining the two, doing what I love and being supported from it. Of course this is easier said than done (or is it?). But I am willing to find out by risking it all; because if I have to wait on another 500 rude elderly tables I might just go run into the wild and never come back (kinda serious).

But in all seriousness I have been feeling the pull for the West for quite some time now (despite the whole Earthquake of death that is apparently imminent there, oh well). But due to shallowness/insanity that is California, California was always out of the picture (Sorry Cali). However when I did my massive cross country road trip back in 2016 (gosh has it already been 2 years??) I found serious inspiration in Oregon. In fact I started writing a book as soon as we crossed state lines (which then shortly ended after we crossed the next one into Washington days later). Point being is that I love Oregon’s style and mindset; it is sometime I can entirely get behind and support 100%.

Sustainability, keeping things weird, and support of artists.

What’s better than that?? Well for me anyway.

So I am very excited about this move. Two of my friends are going as well, one to move with, the other is coming along for the road trip ride to reminisce about our 2016 trip. Should be very interesting indeed how that goes camping around the country part 2, will keep you all in the loop on that plan.

Hope all you beautiful people have a wonderful rest of your day!

And remember don’t give up on your daydream.
